Solveing Problems By Skip Counting

WALT solve simple multiplication problems using skip counting.

1. Kerry wants to buy 2 chocolate bars from the dairy. Each chocolate bar costs $3.00. How much will the chocolate bars cost altogether?

        2x3= 6

2. Alex played 5 basketball games, in each game he scored 2 points. How many points did he score altogether?

  5x2=10

This is how I got the answer by using skip counting in 5’s &2's I went 5,10.then 2,4,6,
